As season premiere of “Cake Boss” kicks off on Monday night, Buddy Valastro and the gang from Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken are off on another season of over-the-top cakes and that special type of personal interaction that makes reality TV "real."
South Orange and Maplewood “cake bosses,” have all the talent, many of the challenges, but do it without a television camera. Patch asked a few local bakers to recall their great cake challenges and to tell Buddy, if they could, what they'd like to see Carlo's Bakery achieve.
